DRY SUMP OIL PANS Congratulations! To John Barbagallo for the first Pro Stock and fastest time in Australia to break into the 6's with our Ford 302 dry sump oil system To John Bradshaw and Abbey Motorsport for their European record run of 6.77 @ 203 MPH using our Nissan VQ35 dry sump system To American Racing Technology for their world record run of 233.8 MPH at the Texas Mile on Oct. 23 2010 using our Dodge Viper dry sump system.
Dailey Engineering also designs and manufactures custom Dry Sump Oil Pans from billet 6061 T6 aluminum. With our "Signature Series" integral Dry Sump Oil Systems, the oil pump bolts directly to the oil pan thus eliminating the A/N lines between the oil pump and oil pan. All scavenge lines are internally machined into the oil pan eliminating the costly weight and expense of external scavenge A/N lines. We currently have over 50 Dry Sump Systems available.
Our latest and hot off the mill is the Nissan VQ-37. After the great success from our VQ-35 system this will no doubt make its mark. Check out all the photos in the VQ-37 page.
One of our latest made its debut at the 2011 PRI show. In response to our successful Honda K20 racing setups and overwhelming demand for a production car installation, this system is destined for the high level of racing of the front wheel drive production cars. Check out all the photos in the Honda K20 production page.
Our latest for the Dodge Viper is this system to dry sump the Dodge Viper Generation 3, 4 & 5 engine and retain the stock AC unit. Check out all the photos in the Viper Gen 3, 4 & 5 with AC page.
One of our latest is this system to dry sump the Nissan 300ZX twin turbo. Check out all the photos in the VG 30 DETT page
One of our latest and new addition to the complete line for the Chevrolet LS series of engines. A departure from our "Signature Series", this pan will incorporate AN fittings and connect to the 5 stage dry sump oil pump driven off a serpentine idler pulley with conventional AN lines. This system will fit into an LS7 dry sumped Corvette and allow the A/C unit to be retained. The oil pan internal design features all the of the same technology as the oil pans Dailey Engineering supplies to GM Racing used in the Corvettes that won the 2011 24 hours of LeMans, to Katech used on the Camaro engines campained in Grand Am along with the Cadillac engines campained in the SCCA World Challenge series as well as the oil pans supplied to Earnhardt-Childress Racing Engines used in the Grand Am Daytona Prototype series. So if you want the same technology and performance as a race bred winner this system will soon be available from Moran Racing Engines. Check it out in the LS7 Corvette with A/C page.
One of our latest is a variation of our existing Ford 302. And this new modular design is the first of many to follow. The modular design of this oil pan allows the oil pump to be mounted in various positions along with a variety of oil pump configurations including conventionally mounted pumps plumbed to -12 fittings on the pan. This is accomplished with a 3 piece design where the base pan has a manifold assembled to it. The manifolds are interchangeable which allows the pump to be installed in various positions compared to our specifically designed one piece pans. Check it out in the 302 Modular Design page.
Our newest pan for the Toyota 2ZZ is a remake of our original design and is intended to retro into the lotus Elise. This will be available from Sector 111 as a complete car installation kit.
One of our latest additions is a remake of our current dry sump system for the Subaru EJ 4 cylinder engine. This newly released system allowed us to raise the hoseends in the assembly 1.5" to gain ground clearance. Check out the 4 and 6 cylinder systems in the Subaru page.
One of our latest addition to our "Signature Series" billet dry sump oil pan is for the 5.3" bore spacing big block Chevy. Shown with our drag racing 6 stage oil pump. Complete assembly as shown weighs 24 pounds. Check it out in the Big Block 5.3" bore page Now available in our newer deeper oil pan for ever increasing stroke increases.
